Stop fighting: Maulana Tariq Jameel appeals to Pakistani YouTubers
Maulana Tariq Jameel has appealed to Pakistani YouTubers Sham Idrees, Ducky Bhai, ZaidAli, Raheem Pardesi and Shahmeer to ‘stop fighting’ in a video message.
Maulana Tariq Jameel is known for spreading the word of Islam and addressing mammoth gatherings on religious topics.
Recently, the Pakistani scholar reached out to Pakistani YouTubers and urged them to stop fighting with one another.
His YouTube channel, which has almost 2 million suscribers, posted a video of Jameel can be seen talking to social media celebrity Zaid Ali.
Pakistani YouTubers have been feuding with each other–Sham Idrees and Ducky Bhai in particular. The feud reached its tipping point when a few weeks ago Sham Idrees’ wife Froggy was allegedly punched by a Ducky Bhai fan at a meet and greet event in Karachi.
Froggy said that she was punched by a Ducky Bhai fan and claimed that she would start a campaign against all those who encouraged violence against women.
“He who does not err is not a human being,” Maulana Tariq Jameel can be heard saying in the video. “We have blinded ourselves by going so far away from the Seerat of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH),” he says.
“It’s Ramadan and everyone continues to fight with each other. There will be no peace unless we all come to middle grounds. Let’s all apologize to each other for everything that has happened and move on. If we fail to do that what’s the point of fasting and praying?” tweeted Sham Idrees.
So far, things have cooled down among the YouTubers with Sham leaving the country and making his peace with another YouTuber, Moroo.
Thank you @Mooroo4 for making a neutral video and being honest. I have made over 1500 videos and many content creators have copied me as well and never gave credit leken i can’t say usne kia toh mein bhi karon. Two wrongs don’t make it right. You earned my respect 👍
