Lahore High Court grants bail to TLP chief Khadim Rizvi
LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) today has granted bail to the Chief of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) Khadim Hussain Rizvi and its senior leader Afzal Qadri.
According to details, both clerics were arrested on charges of sabotaging peace subsequent to the verdict of Supreme Court of acquitting Asia Bibi in blasphemy case, Dunya news reported.
The court has announced the decision that was reserved on May 10.
It must be mentioned here that Lahore police had earlier booked top notch leadership of TLP and lodged more than 11 cases against them and 500 other unknown miscreants.
Moreover, in past around 34 first investigation reports (FIRs) were registered in Faisalabad, 12 in Kasur district, two in Islamabad against the leadership and workers on charges of treason, inflammatory speeches and violence.
