Lawyer sentenced to over 18 years for attacking judge in Punjab
FAISLABAD: An anti-terrorism (ACT) on Thursday sentenced a lawyer to 18 years and six months imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs250,000 for attacking a judge.
On April 25, advocate Imran Manj had smashed the head of a senior civil judge Khalid Mahmood Warraich by throwing a chair at him during the hearing of a case in Jaranwala.
The judge had secured head injury in the assault.
