Imam ul Haq hits 6th ODI century
LONDON: Pakistan opener Imam ul Haq stuck the sixh century of his one-day career in the third match against England on Tuesday.
Haq, who is the nephew of legendary batsman Inzam ul Haq, has so far played 26 matches.
In his short career he has already made six ODI centuries and as many fifties for Pakistan at a healthy average of 55.5.
Although his strike rate of 79.90 is on the lower side the left-handed batsman has become the mainstay of Pakistan batting over the last few months.
Haq made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in October 2017. A hundred on debut made him the second player from Pakistan to reach three figures in his first match.
He followed that up with a splendid outing in Zimbabwe, where he scored three centuries and became the first player in ODI history to score four hundreds in his first nine matches.
