Hafiz Saeed’s brother-in-law Abdul Rehman Makki arrested
GUJRANWALA: Brother-in-law of chief of banned outfit Jamaat-ud-Dawah Hafiz Saeed, Hafiz Abdul Rehman Makki has been apprehended by the law enforcement agencies from Gujranwala, the interior ministry has confirmed.
According to details, Makki was head of Jamaat-ud-Dawah’s political and international affairs wing.
Moreover, he was also looking after the routine affairs of the JuD’s banned charity outfit Falah-e-Insaniat, Geo news reported.
Till yet authorities are not sharing other details in this regard.
It is pertinent to mention here that, government has launched a massive crackdown on all proscribed outfits including JuD in order to implement the National Action Plan in its true spirit.
Country has also taken the control of all the charity institutions and madressahs operated by the banned outfits.
