‘Aamir Khan is a huge fan of late Moin Akhtar,’ tweets Senator Mushahid

Pakistan Muslim League PML-N Senator Mushahid Hussain had a chance to meet with the bollywood superstar Aamir Khan earlier this week at the first Asian Civilizations Dialogue hosted by Chinese President Xing Ping Jing in Beijing.

During the informal talks held between the two on the sidelines of the event, Aamir Khan had expressed his immense love and appreciation for the versatile and legendary actor par excellence Moin Akhtar (late) who left this world in April 2011.

Mushahid Hussain on his official twitter handle wrote “Good meeting with the legendary Indian movie icon, Aamir Khan, who is also in Beijing for the first Asian Civilizations Dialogue hosted by Chinese President,”

“I am a huge fan of late Moin Akhtar, an amazing/talented actor’!” Senator added in his tweet quoting Aamir Khan.

Mushahid also mentioned in his tweet that “Aamir Khan’s movie Dangal is a big hit in China.”

PML-N Senator in another round of his tweet revealed that “Pleasant / Friendly, Aamir Khan spoke well of warm hospitality he received during his last visit to Pakistan in 2003; talked about his upcoming production, based on an Indian version of the popular 1994 Hollywood movie of Tom Hanks, Forrest Gump; Cultural Connectivity key in Conf!”

It must be mentioned here that Moin Akhtar (late) was a known personality all over the world, most importantly in the sub-continent where he ruled millions of heart on account of his exceptional performances on stage and TV including his comedy acts.

On account of his massive contribution the great actor was also awarded with the Pride of Performance and Sitara-e-Imtiaz by the government of Pakistan..

The first Asian Civilizations Dialogue in Beijing was largely attended by filmmakers all around Asian countries – including Fizza Ali Meerza from Pakistan, Aamir Khan from India and Majid Majidi from Iran – were in attendance.
