Twitter can’t help but laugh at PM’s latest slip of the tongue

Politics and Twitter is all about Prime Minister Imran Khan’s slips of the tongue, apparently. Barely a few days after he (maybe intentionally) used the word ‘sahiba’ for PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the prime minister made another slip of the tongue.

Addressing an august gathering in China, Prime Minister Khan spoke about the KP government’s Billion Tree Tsunami project. However, he didn’t keep it to a billion.

“During the last tenure, five billion trees were planted in one of the provinces of my country,” said Imran Khan. “This time, my government has pledged to build 10 billion trees,” he added.

Twitter was quick to point out how the prime minister had inflated the numbers by mistake and said five instead of one.
