Qazi Muhammad Amin Ahmed sworn in as Supreme Court judge
ISLAMABAD: Qazi Muhammad Amin Ahmed has taken oath as a judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa administered oath to Qazi Muhammad Amin.
Justice Amin Ahmed hails from Rawalpindi and is regarded an expert on criminal law. He had retired as judge of the Lahore High Court on March 25.
The Judicial Commission on April 4 approved the proposed appointment of retired Justice Qazi Muhammad Amin Ahmed as a judge of the Supreme Court to fill the vacancy left by the retirement of former chief justice Mian Saqib Nisar.
