Motorcycle bomb kills one, wounds eight in Chaman

CHAMAN: A low-intensity bomb went off on Mall Road in Chaman on Friday, killing one person and wounding eight others, police said.

The bomb attached to a motorcycle caused damage to several shops, cars and bikes.

The injured were rushed to District Headquarters Hospital.

Security forces reached the scene and cordoned off the area to secure evidence. .

This comes hours after 20 people, including members of the ethnic Hazara community, were killed in a deadly attack in Quetta.

Another 40 people were said to be injured.

According to officials, the bomb was hidden in the vegetable market which went off during rush hours, causing enormous loss of life.
