ISPR announces reshuffle in army top brass

RAWALPINDI: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of Pakistan army, announced a reshuffle on several key military positions on Tuesday.

According to the ISPR, Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed has been made Adjutant General of Pakistan Army at the General Headquarters (GHQ).

It said Lt-Gen Azhar Abbas has become Director General Joint Staff, while Lieutenant General Nauman Mahmood has been appointed IG C&IT.

Lt-Gen Sahir Shamshad Mirza will stay as Vice Chief of General Staff while Lt-gen Adnan has been appointed Commander Bahawalpur Corps.
