Former Olympian Manzoor Jr declines PHF’s offer
PHF want to buy me, but I am loyal with my country, says Manzoor Jr
KARACHI: Former hockey Olympian Manzoor Junior has rejected the Pakistan Hockey Federation’s (PHF) offer to join federation as coach or manager.
While talking to natcour.com, Manzoor Jr said that I want to work for the betterment of our national game but not with the current PHF’s management.
He said that the current PHF’s management based on corrupt mafia.
“They didn’t invite me, they want to buy me, but I am loyal with my country,” Manzoor Jr added.
“I don’t want to be part of any such management, who is not loyal to our national game, hockey,” he concluded.
Its is worth mentioning here that the PHF’s Secretary Shahbaz Ahmed Senior invited former hockey legend Manzoor Jr to join PHF as team’s manager or coach.
