Bilawal Bhutto takes a shot at Asad Umar over NA address
ISLAMABAD: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari took a swipe at former PTI’s finance minister Asad Umar over his criticism of PPP’s economic policies in the National Assembly on Wednesday.
Taking to Twitter after Asad Umar’s address, Bilawal Bhutto said that former finance minister, who was removed by his own Prime Minister over incompetence, was now lecturing us how PPP’s economic policies were flawed.
“Obviously Imran Khan doesn’t agree as he appointed as President Zardari’s finance minister as incompetent Asads replacement,” Bilawal added, referring to the appointment of Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh as PM Imran Khan’s Adviser on Finance and Economic Affairs.
Bilawal’s tweet came shortly after Asad Uamr, speaking on the floor of National Assembly, launched fresh criticism against the PPP.
“Your government changed not one but four foreign ministers,” Umar reminded the PPP in his fiery address.
Asad Umar stepped down last week after he was removed as finance minister and asked to accept the portfolio of energy ministry.
