Ashiana Housing Scheme: Accountability court adjourns hearing till May 11
LAHORE: Subsequent to the absence of judge, an accountability court in Lahore today adjourned the hearing of the Ramzan Sugar Mills and Ashiana-e-Iqbal Housing cases till May 11.
According to details, today hearing pertaining to the Ashiana Housing case and Ramzan Sugar Mills was due to be heard against the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, Shehbaz Sharif, his son, Hamza Shehbaz.
But the cases remained not heard as the judge was on leave.
It must be mentioned here that the PML-N president had submitted the application through his counsel Amjad Pervaiz to the court to grant his client exemption from personal appearance as he was outside country for medical treatment.
Later, Court accepted his application.
Meanwhile, Punjab Assembly opposition leader Hamza Shehbaz appeared today before the court for the hearing but his security guards were abstained from entering the court.
