‘Aleem Khan should be granted bail’, tweets Info minister
ISLAMABAD: “Bail should be granted to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Aleem Khan, if those who looted billions can easily get bails’, Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said this today.
Fawad on his official Twitter handle wrote “Aleem Khan’s case is little serious. If those suspects who looted country’s wealth worth in billions can be granted bail easily, then a businessman who has no charges of bringing any loss to the national exchequer should also be granted bail.”
Information minister also added in his tweet that “A common perception exists is that Aleem has been given punishment of such crime which he actually not committed and this is just owing to the hue and cry of the opposition.”

It is pertinent to mention here that in February the country’s anti-graft watchdog National Accountability Bureau had apprehended former senior leader of PTI and provincial minister Aleem Khan from the premises of an accountability court for allegedly owning assets disproportionate to his known source of incomes.
