UK appreciates direct channel for talks between Pakistan, India: envoy
British High Commission to Pakistan Thomas Drew has today welcomed the decision of Pakistan for sending its High commissioner along with delegation to New Delhi for having discussions on the draft of Kartarpur corridor agreement.

FO Spokesman Dr Faisal yesterday revealed this on Twitter that “ I conveyed to India that our High Commissioner would be returning to Delhi, our delegation will visit Delhi on 14 March. Return visit of Indian delegation would be on 28 March to discuss Kartarpur corridor.”
I conveyed to India today that our HC would be returning to Delhi, our Delegation will visit Delhi on 14 March, return visit of Indian delegation would be on 28 March to discuss Kartarpur Corridor, & conveyed our commitment to continued weekly contact at MO Directorate level.

“Conveyed our commitment to continue weekly contact at Military Operations (MO) Directorate level,” Dr Faisal added in his tweet.
It must be mentioned here that last month Pakistan had called back its envoy from New Delhi amid soaring tensions soon after Pulwama attack incident.
