PSL to pay homage to Nazia Hassan at closing ceremony
Zoheb Hassan, brother of iconic singer Nazia Hassan (late), will be paying tribute to his sister with their popular duets ‘Dosti’ and ‘Disco Dewaane’ at the closing ceremony of Pakistan Super League.
The ongoing fourth edition of PSL is expected to close on March 17 at Karachi’s National Stadium.
In a tweet, Hassan wrote, “I am pleased to offer our song Dosti to
@thepslt20. It will feature along with Disco Deewane as a special Tribute to my (late) sister Nazia Hassan at the HBL PSL Closing Ceremony in Karachi.”

Earlier on February 14, the singer had lashed out at the platform for allowing Coke Studio singers Shuja Haider and Aima Baig to use his original track ‘Disco Dewaane’ without prior permission.
“I was shocked to see that a reputable platform like PSL used our track Disco Dewane without our prior permission. Outright infringement of intellectual property should be condemned and I am going to take a legal stand on this one!”, the singer tweeted.
Nazia Hassan rose to popularity in late 70s and 80s for her pop songs but succumbed to Lung cancer at the age of 35 in London.
