Kashmir issue must be resolved via dialogue, says German envoy

ISLAMABAD: “Pakistan’s role is vital for bringing peace in Afghanistan and the incumbent government is fully implementing the National Action Plan (NAP)”, said foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi today.

Addressing at a joint presser with his German counterpart, FM said that the situation arisen following to the Pulwama incident was brought into the knowledge of German envoy and it is expected that our relations with Germany will further strengthen in near future.

Foreign minister also said that in Indian Occupied Kashmir massive human rights violation are going ahead.

Qureshi said that the government is trying its level best to facilitate foreign investors in Pakistan.

Speaking during the press conference, German envoy said that many important matters were discussed during meeting with foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and that “We appreciate the efforts made by Pakistan with an intent to ensure peace in Afghanistan.”

“We maintain close and cordial relations with Pakistan”, said Heiko Mass.

“Process of dialogue must go ahead in order to resolve the Kashmir dispute and to lessen the level of tension in that territory as the condition is terrible now”, said German FM.

Heiko also said that we will increase our collaboration to work with Pakistan in different sectors.

German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas has today arrived in federal capital where he was received by top brass officials of the foreign office.
