FM Qureshi arrives in Beijing for 3-day visit
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has reached Beijing today on a three-day trip to attend the first Pakistan-China foreign ministers’ strategic dialogue.
According to details, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing and his Pakistani counterpart Masood Khalid, along with other Pakistani embassy officials had received Qureshi at the airport.
Official Twitter handle run by the Government of Pakistan stated that “The foreign minister arrived in Beijing received by Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing and other officials of Pakistani embassy.”

Sources disclosed that both sides will hold bilateral talks, including the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), issues related to the regional security and cooperation at divergent fields.
The foreign minister will also address the Political Parties Forum on the CPEC and will be meeting with senior Chinese leadership, sources informed.
Earlier, Foreign office spokesman Dr Faisal had also revealed on its official Twitter desk that “FM Qureshi shall co-chair the inaugural session of Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue with State Coincilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi.”
