Facebook, Instagram still not restored globally

In the wake of an abrupt halt in the social media app of Facebook and Instagram, users all over the world faced difficulties to log in their respective accounts since last night as both were partially down.

As per recent details, both platforms and some services appear to have been restored at some places but still it has not been restored completely as the users are reporting issues with sending messages on Messenger, posting to the feed on all Facebook products, and accessing other features on Facebook.com, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

Moreover, this sudden interruption is said to be the biggest one since the inception of this app.

Instagram also posted a message for the users on its official Twitter handle saying “We’re aware of an issue impacting people’s access to Instagram right now.”

Facebook also posted an update on its official Twitter handle saying “We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the family of apps.’

In another tweet by the Facebook, it is said “We’re focused to resolve the issue as soon as possible and made it clear that the issue is not related to a Distributed Denial of Service – DDos attack.”
