CM Murad to appear before NAB today

RAWALPINDI: Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah will appear today before the country’s anti-graft watchdog NAB’s Rawalpindi branch in a case pertaining to the fabricated bank accounts.

According to details, National Accountability Bureau notified Shah to ensure his appearance on March 26 at old headquarters. But upon the request of CM to make a slighter change in the date, the probe body allowed him to appear today

It must be mentioned here that CM Murad has been instructed to carry all the relevant records with him related to the Thatta Sugar Mills during the time of his appearance .

Director General NAB, Irfan Manghi will record the statement of chief minister Sindh at headquarter.

Sources also disclosed that the senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party will also be Shah will also be handed over a written questionnaire where he will record statements over Thatta and Dadu sugar mills case.

Money Laundering case:

It is pertinent to mention here that the FIA is probing more than 30 people on account of mega money laundering scandal from forged and fictitious bank accounts including former President Asif Ali Zardari, his sister Faryal Talpur, Hussain Lawai, Anwar Majeed and his son.

The amount, according to FIA sources, is said to be black money gathered from various kickbacks, commissions and bribes.
