Bilawal Bhutto refers to Asad Umar as a ‘parha likha jahil’
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Monday that Finance Minister Asad Umar was a ‘parha likha jahil’ for criticizing his speech in English.
The PPP chairman was speaking to media after meeting Nawaz Sharif in Kot Lakhpat Jail. He criticized the finance minister for talking about petty issues.
“Asad Umar is talking like a parha likha jahil,” he said. “He was criticizing me for speaking in English when Shah Mehmood Qureshi spoke more in English than me,” he added.
He urged Asad Umar to not indulge in politics of hypocrisy and told him that unlike Imran Khan, he uses his father’s name.
“PM Khan through a notification slashed his father’s name, someone should tell Umar that I write Zardari in my name along with Bhutto. Umar should not indulge in politics of hypocrisy,” he said.
Last week when the PPP chairman had addressed the parliament and criticized the PTI’s resolution to award Prime Minister Khan a Nobel Peace Prize, Asad Umar had criticized the Bhutto scion.
“The Zardari tribe is a respected one in Sindh. I don’t know why Bilawal doesn’t like to use the name of his father,” he said. “We will call him Bilawal Zardari though because he is a Zardari at the end of the day,” he added.
