Zoheb Hassan, Pakistani pop actor and the brother of the versatile singer late Nazia Hassan, yesterday lashed out at the management of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) for using the song ‘Disco Deewane’ without having approval of it.

According to details, Zoheb on his official Twitter and Facebook page posted a message saying “I was shocked to see that a reputable platform like PSL used our track Disco Dewane without our prior permission.”

He added in his post that “Outright infringement of intellectual property should be condemned and I am going to take a legal stand on this one.”

Zoheb was of the view that the PSL organizers used Nazia Hassan’s top hit number Disco Deewane during the opening ceremony of PSL 2019 at Dubai stadium without his permission.

According to Zoheb Hassan “One must give due respect to the intellectual property rights and must abide by copyrights act.”

Well-known singers Shuja Haider and Aima Baig had performed the song during PSL 4th edition opening ceremony held in Dubai.
