Sindh Governor inaugurates ‘First Adab Festival Pakistan’
KARACHI: The incumbent government is positively looking forward to promote every kind of literary events and activities in an organized manner. Governor Sindh Imran Ismail said this while addressing at the inaugural ceremony of the 3-day literary event named ‘First Adab Festival Pakistan’ being held at Governor House yesterday.
“Doors of Governor House Sindh are open to all literary events and government will extend full cooperation in this regard”, said Governor.
Founder and Director of Adab Festival, Ameena Saiyid expressing his views on the event said that “Through Adabfest we want to create a new Silk Route through cross-cultural traditions, heritage, literature and arts assembling all in the global perspective.”
During the three day festival, Governor House remained open to the public yesterday from 2 pm to 9 pm, today and tomorrow it will remain open in the timings from 11 am to 9 pm.
