Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman arrives in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman landed in Islamabad on Sunday and was received warmly by Prime Minister Imran Khan and the federal cabinet.

Mohammad bin Salman has arrived on a two-day state visit to Pakistan after which he will depart for other countries. The crown prince is expected to sign multi-billion dollar deals with the incumbent government in various fields of cooperation.

Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman’s plane landed at Nur Khan airbase and Prime Minister Imran Khan welcomed him upon his arrival.

During his visit, Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman will call on the President Dr. Arif Alvi. He will also meet the Prime Minister and the Chief of Army Staff.

A Senate delegation will also call on the Crown Prince to discuss ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

The Saudi Ministers accompanying the Crown Prince will meet their counterparts to discuss bilateral cooperation in their respective fields.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi received his Saudi counterpart at the airport and accorded him a warm welcome.
