Main accused in Irshad Ranjhani’s killing arrested
KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah yesterday ordered to remove chief of Karachi Police over the gruesome murder of Jeay Sindh Tehreek’s Karachi President Irshad Ranjhani.
Murad also summoned provincial chief secretary and expressed his anger over police’s inefficient performance on the murder.
It must be mentioned here that Union Council Nazim Rahim Shah opened fire on Ranjhani in broad day light on February 6 in the precincts of Bhains Colony.
Following to his killing, UC Nazim lodged an FIR against the deceased, accusing him of being a robber who was trying to loot him.
Later, the murderer was apprehended on the directives of Additional IG Karachi Dr Amir Shaikh.
Earlier, CM Sindh during his speech in the Provincial Assembly also said that police officers who witnessed the killing of Irshad Ranjhani, are also an accomplice to the killer.
