Bilawal pays tribute to Asma Jahangir, calls govt ‘dangerous duffers’

ISLAMABAD: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid tribute to deceased lawyer and human rights activist Asma Jahangir on Monday and referred to the government as ‘dangerous duffers’.

“Missing Asma Jahangir on the first anniversary of her death. Pakistan’s brave human rights defender who always spoke truth to power. Who will hold our government of ‘dangerous duffers’ accountable now?” he tweeted.

Asma Jahangir was a human rights activist, renowned lawyer and former president of the Supreme Court Bar Association who was known for her outspoken views against the military.

She passed away due to cardiac arrest on February 11, 2018.
