PM launches Pakistan Banao Certificates
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the ‘Pakistan Banao Certificate’ on Thursday, in a bid to receive more investment from overseas Pakistanis.
The ‘Pakistan Banao Certificate’ will only be available for overseas Pakistanis. The on-of-a-kind scheme was launched today at an event attended by senior government ministers and the prime minister as well.
“I know the most about overseas Pakistanis because at one point in time, I was also an overseas Pakistani,” he said. “This should have been done a while ago but oh well, timing is only in the hands of Allah,” he added.
“The govt has given an attractive return on these certificates & it wd not only help the Pakistani diaspora to earn reasonable profit from these certificates but also extend a helping hand towards reviving the national economy “ PM 2/2 #PakistanBanaoCertificates pic.twitter.com/GZE9Fwe8ob

Prime Minister Khan said that no other government had inherited such a huge budget deficit but he had hopes that Pakistan would rise out of its problems.
“We will Insha Allah take back Pakistan to its glory days—to the 1960s and 1970s when we used to be an example for other parts of the world,” he added.
These certificates will have maturity of three and five years. The rate of return on three years would be 6.25 percent, while on five years would be 6.75 percent. The profit distribution will be in American dollars.
These certificates can be bought within a minimum investment of $5000 with no upper limit.
