Crew member dies during Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh shoot
MUMBAI: An accident on the sets of Shahid Kapoor starrer film Kabir Singh, killed a local crew member on Thursday at a five-star hotel in Mussoorie.
Ram Kumar was in charge of the functioning of the generator being used for the shoot of Shahid’s film.
Panic gripped on the sets as Ram Kumar, working with the film unit as a generator operator went to check the water level in the generator when his muffler got stuck in the generator’s fan and in the process, he was pulled in too.
The injured was rushed to a hospital in Dehradun where he was put on the ventilator for a few hours but succumbed to severe wounds in the head.
The hotel authorities have however denied confirming any such mishap occurring on their premises, according to an Indian source Times Now.
Directed by Sandeep Vanga, Kabir Singh is an official remake of Arjun Reddy starring Shahid and Kiara Advani, which focuses on the life of an alcoholic surgeon with anger-management issues who goes on a self-destructive path after his ex-lover marries someone else.
Kabir Singh is scheduled to be released on June 21 this year.
