FO holds annual exchange of Indo-Pak nuclear installations, facilities list
ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Foreign Affairs today officially handed over the list of nuclear installations and facilities in Pakistan to a representative of the Indian High Commission.
In accordance with Article-II of the Agreement on Prohibition of Attacks against Nuclear-Installations and Facilities between Pakistan and India, signed on 31st December 1988, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi also handed over the list of Indian Nuclear installation and facilities to a representative of the Pakistan High Commission at 1030 hrs (IST).
As per the agreement, it is mandatory that that both countries will inform each other of their nuclear installations and facilities on the very first starting day of every year.
This exercise is in practice since 1st January 1992.
