MUMBAI: Thugs of Hindostan has seen a sharp decline in its collections due to poor critical reception and lack of good word-of-mouth.

The Bollywood film featuring megastars Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan  made a whopping Rs 50.75 crore business on its first day.

In three days of its theatrical run, the Thugs of Hindostan made Rs 105 crore. It is expected to pick up on Sunday, but it may still fold soon since the initial euphoria did not take long to die down.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted the figures on his Twitter handle. He said, “The DOWNFALL continues… #ThugsOfHindostan gets weaker with each passing day… With biz declining further on Day 3 [Sat], the writing is clear on the wall… Will find it tough to sustain from Day 5 [Mon] onwards… #TOH.”
