LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was trying to persuade Australia to play a couple of matches in Pakistan during its next series.

According to the Future Tour Program, Pakistan will play five one-day internationals against Australia in March next year.

The two teams will face each other again at the end of October when Pakistan will play a series of two Tests and three T20I down under.

Geo quoted sources as saying that the schedule for the five-match series between Pakistan and Australia has not changed with the series being held next year from March 19 to 31.

Efforts are being made to host a match or two between the two countries in Pakistan.

“We are making efforts to host one or two matches in Pakistan for which Karachi or Lahore is an option,” it added.
