The highly anticipated Azadi March attracted thousands of protesters, including opposition leaders as JUI-F reached Islamabad yesterday.

While addressing the rally, JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman gave Prime Minister Imran two days to resign and go home. He warned that the people of Pakistan are capable of putting the prime minister behind the bars if he refused to leave.

Actor Neelam Muneer expressed her concern over the march, stating how she respects the preachings of religious clerics but Maulana Fazl’s warning to the prime minister broke her heart.

I highly respect all religious scholars from the bottom of my heart. I seek guidance from their lectures and speeches on a daily basis. Today Maulana sahib threatening to arrest Imran Khan from his house broke my heart.

The Kaaf Kangana starlet also shared her two cents on the current situation following the Azadi March, asking the youth to not listen to those creating chaos in the country.

“Our country can’t afford Anarchy or civil disobedience. We the “youth” need to take charge of our destiny and the only way to do that is not to listen to anyone who wants to create chaos in Pakistan,” the actress wrote in a long note shared on Twitter.

“We the youth have to unite against all entities, no matter who they are, who are trying to destroy our beloved country,” she concluded.
