Meesha Shafi comments on Rabi Pirzada’s leaked videos
Meesha Shafi, the woman who has been at the forefront of the #MeToo movement in Pakistan, has come also come out in defense of Rabi Pirzada after her scandalous videos were leaked on social media.
While extending her support to Rabi, Meesha also mentioned the time the latter had accused her of seeking publicity through the #MeToo movement.
“The same women who were accused of speaking up as a publicity stunt by Rabi are defending her unconditionally today. Including myself,” the Coke Studio star wrote.
Stating this, she condemned the leaking and sharing of these private videos and pledged that she will raise her voice when a victim is being shamed and humiliated.

A day earlier, the internet drove into a frenzy after Rabi Pirzada’s private videos were leaked on social media.
Last year, Rabi tweeted her stance on the #MeToo movement which left many activists unimpressed as she accused women taking the aid of the movement of using it as a publicity stunt.
