Atif Aslam accepts a star at Dubai Stars’ walk
Atif Aslam has been honoured with his first star as the inauguration of The Dubai Stars kicked off over the weekend.
The Wohi Khuda Hai singer attended the grand walk among a dozen other luminaries from entertainment who also got their names inked with gold on the platform.
The grand event also honoured Sonam Kapoor, Balqees Fathi, footballer Yasser Saeed Al-Qahtani, actor Ahmed Helmy, actress Mona Zaki, and vlogger Khalid Al Amiri who were gathered at a Palace Downtown Hotel press conference.
Fans were in awe of their celebrities when pictures from the ceremony emerged on social media. Atif Aslam also shared the moment with his fans.
“It’s like the Hollywood Walk Of Fame so it’s quite a big deal. I have been chosen from a lot of people and I’m blessed to be among these people. It means a lot,” the 36-year-old star said on the occasion.
“Music has always connected people and has crossed cultures. I started in Pakistan, went to India and it has now gone global,” he added.
